Andrew Garfield’s latest movie has had a mostly magical effect on critics. The actor, best known as Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man films and the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man: No Way Home, has amassed an impressive filmography across a variety of genres. His list of credits include Academy Award-nominated turns in films such as the 2016 war drama Hacksaw Ridge and the 2021 musical Tick, Tick…Boom! He also received an Emmy nomination for his work in the 2022 crime drama series Under the Banner of Heaven. Now, after years of darker, more serious roles, he’s taken on a much lighter, more family-friendly project.
